Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal appears as a shimmering white palace that's out of a dream. The Taj has an unreal, not of this earth quality about it that's hard to describe or capture in a photograph. It's most striking from a distance. As one approaches, the master workmanship becomes apparent but the building transforms from a dream to something more real. Up close it appears more glimmering mausoleum than mystical palace.
