Agra: Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's Mausoleum

Fatephur Sikri is the imperial capital built by the great Mughal emperor Akbar. After only being inhabited for 16 years between 1569 and 1585, the capital was abandoned. It's eerily well persevered. I could picture Akbar playing pachsi on the large outdoor board where legend says he used real people as his game pieces.
