Antelope Canyon

The photographs I'd seen of Antelope Canyon had transfixed me and going there myself was on my bucket list for a long time. There's both an upper and lower canyon. These images were made in the upper canyon. The canyon is a mecca for photographers because the light, particularly when the sun is overhead, is magical. The canyon has become a major tourist attraction and is now quite crowded. I wish I could have experienced it when it was relatively unknown and empty. Even with crowds, it's amazing site and a must see in the southwest.
