It was one of my early photography successes.  On this trip to San Diego, I tried out a couple of new things photography wise, including slide film.  My images from that trip turned out great which was probably at least partially beginners luck.  Creating some images I was really happy with was a gateway drug and 20 years later I&#8217;m still photographing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Jolla is my favorite urban sea scape. It&#8217;s just gorgeous.  There are places that are more famous, like the French Rivera, but in my book, La Jolla beats them all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I created this image 20 years ago.
