Day of Dead 2011 in San Francisco

Three years after my first time to the Day of Dead (or more properly, Día de los Muertos) in 2008, I made a return visit. It seemed both bigger and smaller this time. The crowd was larger but the organized portion at the front seemed smaller. This year the energy seemed a bit different and a bit more somber than three years ago.
