San Francisco July 4th 2014 Fireworks

Treasure Island was cold and windy on July 4th. As can only be true in San Francisco, it was felt just as cold as New Year's Eve on Treasure Island. The experience brought to mind the famous quip: The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco that is often but likely incorrectly attributed to Mark Twain. Along with the cold and wind, there was the fog over the city. The fog did obscure the some of the fireworks show but the trek out was still worthwhile.
