Niagara Falls

I'm not a huge fan of waterfalls. As such, Niagara Falls wasn't on the top of my list for places to visit. Due to being within day trip range of Niagara, I made a visit. Niagara Falls has a massive amount of water going over the falls. To truly appreciate it, one needs to take the boat ride up to the falls. I came away thinking Niagara is an impressive sight but one worth making a dedicated long distance trip to see. I was surprised about the number of tourists traps (wax museums, haunted houses, etc) near the falls (on the Canadian side). When I think of natural wonders, I don't think of wax museums but these establishments are far enough away from the falls, they are out of sight, out of mind when viewing the falls.
