Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Each spring the Skagit Valley is awash with color as the tulip and daffodil fields bloom. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival celebrates the tulip bloom. The Skagit Valley is about an hour and half drive from Seattle and can easily be done as day trip from Seattle.

RoozenGarde Garden

RoozenGarde is one of the two growers of tulips in the Skagit Valley. In addition to tulip fields, they also have a garden that shows off their different varieties of tulips. Photographing the tulip garden was the highlight of my trip Skagit. It was a real pleasure to see and photograph so many varieties of tulips.
