Vancouver

Vancouver is a thoroughly modern city and while it has beautiful setting on the water, it lacks the charm of Victoria. The skyline is dominated by huge glass apartment towers that all look like recent additions. My visit was shortly after the hockey riot and there were many bordered up glass store windows that had been broken during riot.
