Austin, Texas

Coming from California, I had a lot of stereotypes of Texas in my head. I knew Austin was the "liberal" part of Texas and had heard about the Keep Austin Weird slogan. Nonetheless, the Californian idea of Texas being full of open carrying gun nuts made me unsure as to what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find Austin full character, from food trucks to cool shops. Austin has a lot to offer in the in the funky, weird and unusual department.
