New Orleans

Few cities ever charm me right off the bat. For most cities, it takes me multiple visits to even come to appreciate what they have to offer. New Orleans charmed me as soon as I walked into the French Quarter. The deeply layered history that the quarter exudes captivated me. New Orleans is a unique among US cities in having blend of French, Spanish and Anglo influences. I only had a short time in New Orleans for this initial visit and was only able to scratch the surface of this unique treasure.
