Warsaw:

Warssaw, The Rest

I explored other parts of the city. I enjoyed the Neon Museum. I was fascinated by the ominous Palace of Science and Culture, a supposed "gift" from the Soviet Union. When the "Palace" was built, it was the tallest building in Warsaw and was no doubt intended to be an ever-present reminder that Poland was the under the control of the USSR. Łazienki Park is a charming urban park containing the Palace on the Isle. The Palace on the Isle is a delightful place to visit. This Palace was heavily damaged in WWII but not destroyed and has been fully restored.
