Street Art

Most of these murals are in Wynwood, which is a neighborhood in Miami. Wynwood has changed radically in the six years since I last visited. In 2017, it was an up-and-coming area with an artsy vibe from the murals everywhere. In 2023, Wynwood has arrived, which means lots of new buildings but fewer murals. Some of these new buildings have large and commissioned murals, but gone from most of Wynwood is the sense of discovery from wandering and discovering a great mural. A bit of old flavor remains on the eastern side of Wynwood, near I-95, which is still more industrial.
