Yellowstone Wildlife

Wildlife is a big part of what makes Yellowstone magical. There is nowhere else in the lower 48 where you can see so much wildlife in one place.

On this trip, I visited the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center for the first time. I had been hesitant to see captive animals, but the center does an excellent job educating visitors about how to keep bears safe by keeping them separated from humans. It was also a rare opportunity to see both grizzly bears and wolves up close, in a way one would rarely, if ever, see them in the wild.
