Cemeteries

The stone work in cemeteries captivates me. While many people find a cemetery a creepy place, I appreciate the history, tranquility and artistry of them. I wouldn't want to hang around after dark as the spookiness would get to me to but during the day, they are fascinating places. The best one of I've ever visited is Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Recoleta is deservedly one of the world's most renowned cemeteries. The mausoleums are amazing.

London’s Magnificent Seven are also impressive. I’ve been to three of the seven. Highgate is the most famous but I found both Brompton and Abney Park well worth a visit.
