Presidio Public Health Service Hospital
Built as a hospital in 1931, this majestic building in San Francisco’s Presidio is now luxury apartments with eye-popping prices. Rents for a 1BR start at $3600. The renovation is looks really spectacular, at least from the outside. Before the redevelopment, the building was flanked by ugly hospital wings built in the 1950s.
Chimpanzee
Chimpanzees are human’s closest relatives. Just looking at a chimp is enough to tell me that we share much with our chimp cousins.
Black-necked Swan
Yesterday, I visited to the San Francisco Zoo to get some animal photography practice in before my safari in Tanzania. This black-necked swan is native to South America.
Floating on a Sea of Tranqulity
This rubber duck looked complete at ease floating in a fountain at the San Francisco Zoo
Taken at the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden in Golden Gate Park. The tulips were not at not in full bloom yet but the daffodils were.
