This year the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden had all red tulips.

The Coastal Trail through the Marin Headlines provides a spectacular view of Rodeo Beach.

Hill 88 was a radar station in the Marin Headlands, which was part of the coast defense system that included nuclear Nike missiles. This building has no roof but fresh paint which covered up much graffiti. The whole site is a cold war relic and makes the visitor feel like they’ve stepped back in time.

After the sun went down, the sky filled with color.

Taken on my first outing to Panther Beach which is between Santa Cruz and Davenport on Highway 1. Panther Beach is the most scenic spot I’ve seen between Santa Cruz and San Francisco.
This image is a composite of two photos I took in short succession.

Taken only 7 minutes before the photo in my prior post, this image has a totally different feel. The colors in the sky are softer and the whole image has a surreal feel to it.

Beautiful colors in the sky as the sun went down.
