Death Valley

My previous visit to Death Valley had been 13 years prior in 2011. On the prior visit, I had spent a couple of days in the park. This time, I only spent a little over half of a day so this visit was more a stopover rather than a full-fledged visit. This visit was in early May and although the air temperature wasn't bad, the sun still felt extremely hot. In the summer, this place no doubt earns its name. One day I hope to go to some of the more remote and difficult-to-access areas of the park including the Racetrack but such an adventure wasn't in the cards for this visit.
