Luxor

Modern Luxor is in the same area as ancient Thebes which was the religious center of Ancient Egypt. The highlight of the east bank is the Karnak temple complex. Karnak temple is one of the largest religious complexes in the history of world. Pharaohs built at Karnak for over a 1000 years. I also enjoyed the shopping in the souk where I met at Sufi shop keeper who seemed to have a knack for reading things about people who walked into his shop almost as if he were a fortune teller.
